The face of a mouse is hidden under Tsukaito, although its large ears poking out on the both sides appear as if the mouse is observing us. Both sides of Fuchi-gashira apply Shakudo-nanakoji, elegantly expressing Nibanso Okina-no-mai with a flute and a mask of an old man. Tsuba has a shape of an Ise lobster engraved in a gold bronze base. Its engraving is plump and alive, with long yielding tentacles that look as if they are ready to twitch.

Saya applies Kuro-ro Japanese lacquer. Probably due to this Japanese lacquer, it retains massiveness that gives a stunning impression to Saya.
